We have an enclosed boarding facility adjacent to the hospital, which was created for your pets’ comfort. Whether their stay is just for one night or for weeks at a time, the personal attention your pets will receive is unmatched in the St. Louis area!

Hotel guests are monitored daily by phase-trained team members to ensure their comfort during their stay.  Appetite, attitude, and elimination of urine and stool are noted and the doctors on staff address health issues.  As always, routine medications are given at no additional charge to you, a benefit rarely offered by most boarding facilities.  Pets with diabetes or other chronic diseases are closely monitored and clients are contacted at the earliest detection of any health concern.
 

Accommodations
Creve Coeur St Louis Animal Hospital Dog Boarding

Accommodations for dogs include:standard “rooms” or two levels of run “suites.”  The larger runs include ~50 square feet of living space and a bunk perched above floor level. The smaller runs include ~20 square feet of living space and also have a raised area for sleeping or eating.  The regular kennels hold dogs of all sizes up to 85 lbs.

The cat kennels come in two difference sizes: Regular and Large.

We have two dog wards, a separate cat ward, and a separate rabbit and exotic ward.

Walking, feeding, & cleaning

  • Dogs are personally walked three times a day in our beautifully landscaped, enclosed exercise area for their safety.
  • We keep your pet on the same feeding routine as they get at home. 
  • Their kennels are cleaned at least two times a day or more if needed.
  • All pets are monitored closely to ensure the safest stay available in the area!

The TLC Program

  • Dogs: additional $5.00/day
  • Cats: additional $3.00/day

The TLC program incorporates mid-day playtime for dogs in a safe environment, a daily treat, a journal of their stay, and a photo as a keepsake from their special experience.  Cats watch a special video during the day, enjoy a daily treat, and take home a journal of their stay and a photo keepsake.

Mid-Day Group Play

Mid-Day Group Play is an opportunity for your dog to exercise and play with other dogs while boarding at Creve Coeur Animal Hospital. Candidate dogs will be tested for compatibility with the other dogs of the group and will be allowed to participate based on the results of that test. A veterinary nurse will also screen dogs for fleas and oral papillomas (warts) before each playtime. In addition to these daily screenings, all participating dogs must be current on all required vaccinations, be on a heartworm and flea and tick preventative and must have a fecal exam annually.
