Kemp's Korner
Last year flew by for the Kemp-Browning household. Mike and I were lucky enough to get some traveling in. We traveled to Montana the end of March and beginning of April to see some wide-open spaces. We were not disappointed. We went skiing, which was exhilarating and terrifying for me. Mike is a pretty good skier and is also a good teacher. My leg muscles can only take about two days of skiing and then they turn to jelly. We traveled up to Wisconsin over the July 4th weekend. We visited Madison and toured Taliesin, the Frank Lloyd Wright home in Spring Green. Mike and I continue to road bicycle throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Our favorite place to bike is out in Wildwood. Our biggest news for the year of 2010 is that Mike and I were married in May. We had a very small ceremony held at my parents' farm outside of Washington, Missouri. I met Mike during our undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1997. We started seriously dating in 2000 and we got engaged in May of 2004. We don't like to rush into things (haha). Mike and I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2011.
